Cardiac organoid
As we guide cardiac organoids to differentiate into specific chambers, our goal is to develop fully formed 4-chambered heart organoids. By utilizing hiPSCs derived from patients with congenital heart defects, we aim to uncover the underlying causes of these abnormalities.
Heart development & Regeneration
We are investigating how cardiac lineages are specified during development and in response to injury. By utilizing several transgenic mice, we are analyzing the regulatory mechanisms at both the transcriptional and epigenetic levels in these processes.
Multiplexed single-cell approaches
To gain a systematic understanding of heart development and diseases, we are using highly multiplexed single-cell approaches such as MULTI-seq to analyze the single cell omics at multiple level.
Decoding the spatial information
By utilizing various spatial transcriptomics approaches, tissue clearing, lineage tracing, and multiplexed in situ hybridization, we aim to understand tissue development with precise temporal and spatial resolution.
